I went to see Hulk the other day, and I was sorely disappointed.

The plot was a good one, but the dialogue was poor especially when anyone tried to speak with Bruce's father, who just rambled complete trash and not a single person thought that he had a screw loose. Changing the actors that played David Banner and General Ross was a poor move as well, since they didn't look anywhere near alike (dodgy tash for the young Banner just doesn't cut it).

The CG Hulk was OK, but could have been better. He shouldn't have been that big for a start, and when he was stomping around trying to look mean, he just looked like a big baby throwing a temper tantrum (it's his face - he looks like a soft git), which isn't really scary! The best parts were when he was chucking stuff about.

Also, the way everyone was just messing around with gamma radiation seemed a bit daft. David Banner setting off a bomb on the base was a bit much; Bruce sacrificing himself was just silly, but essential to the plot; David Banner frying himself and his pets; and David Banner getting blasted at the end. It's a wonder the whole country hasn't gone sterile with this willy nilly attitude to gamma radiation.
