Got My Wheels Back
Got a phone call today saying that my car was fixed and that it was ready for picking up. Hooray! It has been far too long. It turns out that some bands in the gearbox (automatic) needed replacing. It cost Bt 40,000, which is over half the price the another garage quoted, and everything is garanteed for a year or 20,000km, which ever comes first.

I don't know what to do with the rented car though. It still has another 2 weeks before I have to take it back.
