Martyr Making
The sentence of execution shouldn't even be considered now. An alternative such as life imprisonment should be arranged. This isn't due to liberal thinking, but sentencing them to death is exactly what they want. Inam Samudra even thanked the prosecution for demanding the death sentence. So executing them will on make them martyrs, and in doing so may encourage others to follow them into martyrdom.
