I've haven't been posting for a while, mainly cos I've been busy learning about my linux system. OK, it may seem a bit geeky, but it's really interesting. I've also discovered Python, which is really easy to learn and create useful, object-orientated scripts. It is cross platform, so it's not just for linux users. From having limited programming experience, I've managed to create a frontend to rip cds to ogg files within a couple of days. It uses cdda2wav to rip from cd to wav (oh, really) and oggenc to then convert the wav to ogg. I will post up a link to download it once I've got a few bugs worked out and when I've found a suitable host.
