My mother bought me a really good book the other day. It's called "Being Dharma: The Essense of the Buddha's Teachings" by Ajahn Chah. The book has suggested training ourselves to be rid of attachments, since these only cause suffering. I don't mean to sound like a hippy or anything, but it has already made a difference. I no longer feel like being lazy and wasting my time. I don't feel as depressed as I used to be. So it's all good.
I wonder how long I can keep practicing though. The stuff in the book is not easy to do, but it's definitely worth the effort.
